Blacksmith-Metal Fabricator Course in Ironwork
Our Metalworking School is the only one in Italy to offer the Blacksmith-Metal Fabricator Course in Ironwork. It is a very practical and technical course. You don't need any prior experience to enroll; we will explain everything from scratch.
We teach you the fundamentals of reading and interpreting industrial drawings, so that you can independently extract the measurements from the blueprints, which you will then use to construct the components we will teach you to fabricate.
The blacksmith-metal fabricator course trains operators to work effectively in a metalworking workshop and teaches them to use the equipment and machinery necessary for iron constructions.
At the end of the blacksmith-metal fabricator course, our school will issue you an important certificate of participation.
Blacksmith-Metal Fabricator Course Program
During our Blacksmith-Metal Fabricator Course, we will teach you the following activities:
1) Safe movement within the workshop and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
2) Fundamentals of industrial drawing interpretation
3) Various cutting methods: manual, semi-manual, and automatic (oxy-acetylene torch, Plasma Cutting, Guillotine Shear, Pantograph, Band Saw)
5) Use of grinder/sander
5) Use of welding machine for tack welding
7) Operation of radial drill, magnetic drill, hole saw drill
8) Use of Overhead Crane, Forklift/Lift Truck
12) Press Brake Operation
14) Lathe Operation

Ironwork Fabricator Course Based on Blueprints
The Structural Steel Fabricator by Design Course takes place from 5 PM to 10 PM at our workshop in Melilli, Syracuse, Sicily. It lasts just over a month, but don't worry if you're not from the area, we provide accommodation for the entire duration of the course.
At the end of the course, you can choose to continue your training experience by enrolling in our one-month Work Experience program at our workshop, where you will practice daily constructing structural components similar to those required by potential employers.
Furthermore, by participating in the Work Experience, you will have the opportunity to include this experience on your resume, because we will issue you a Certificate of Participation for the Blacksmith-Carpenter Course.
Metal Fabricator by Drawing Course
The Metal Fabricator by Drawing Course is highly practical; students, together with the instructor, will construct actual structural components or furniture pieces from iron and steel, based on technical drawings.
Our metal fabricator – structural steel fabricator course is very hands-on; in fact, we will require you to produce complete pieces as if they were ready for sale. You will need to carefully interpret the drawings and construct the pieces with millimeter precision.
We will teach you to fabricate iron products, adhering to the millimeter-precise measurements provided in industrial drawings and, most importantly, meeting the delivery times typically required by prospective employers.
You will independently create iron tables, planters, stairs, mezzanines, chairs, shelving units, etc., as shown in the photos below.
