The “Italian Welding Olympics” is the most prestigious event and competition in the Italian welding sector, where the best welders challenge each other to determine who is superior.
During the competition, welders from across Europe competed to demonstrate their skill in various welding types: TIG, MIG/MAG (Continuous Wire), and SMAW (Electrode).
For many years, the ITAFORMA Welding School has hosted the selections of the best welders participating in the national Welding Olympics in its workshops.

How do the Italian Welding Olympics work?
Welders from all over Italy who decide to participate in the competition choose one of the welder selection centers located throughout Italy. Once selected, they perform complex welding tests that are checked, inspected, and radiographed by a team of experts and welding inspectors. Each center identifies the best welders who will then participate in the National Finals held annually in Genoa. Here, the top contenders battle for a podium position among the best welders by category.
It is with great pride that we can announce this year two welders selected by the Itaforma Welding School have achieved first place in their respective welding categories.
For many years, the ITAFORMA School has been committed to providing comprehensive and in-depth training, equipping its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful professional welders.

This extraordinary result confirms the professionalism and excellence of the ITAFORMA School, which has been training international-level welders for years.
In recent years, annually, several welders from the ITAFORMA School selections have reached the podium in the top three positions across all three welding types.
The ITAFORMA Welding School is recognized by international bodies and certifiers as one of the best training institutions in the field of welding. Thanks to the quality of its training programs and the expertise of its teaching staff, the ITAFORMA School has obtained numerous awards and certifications of excellence in the sector.
This ensures students attending the School receive a solid and comprehensive preparation, allowing them to access employment opportunities both nationally and internationally.
These events offer the opportunity to compete with the best professionals in the sector and to test one's skills under the pressure of competition.
Congratulations to all participants of the 7th Edition of the Welding Olympics, especially to the two welders selected by ITAFORMA who achieved first place.
