The Welding Certificate confers the qualification of a skilled welder according to European and international reference standards, certifies the welder and their ability to weld, and issues the so-called INTERNATIONAL WELDER CERTIFICATE.
The welder's certificate stands apart from many other welding certificates and attestations because it must be issued by an internationally recognized and certified body. Our School has significant collaborations with the best International Certification Bodies, which, at the end of our courses and after the final examination, issue the welder with the Welding Certificate.
Companies worldwide, before hiring, always ask welders if they possess a welding certificate issued by an internationally recognized body. Only if the welder holds this welding certificate do they request a welding test to be performed at their workshop.
Our welding school is the oldest in Italy, and over the past 30 years of conducting courses, we have compiled all the welding tests required for the welding certificate examination and the tests requested by companies prior to hiring. We have integrated these into our course curriculum to prepare students to pass the examinations they will face.
The Welding Certificate according to standards UNI EN ISO 9606-1 can be obtained in two ways:
– By attending a professional welding course that teaches how to weld and pass the examination
– By taking the examination directly if one already possesses perfect welding skills
If the operator already possesses proficient welding skills and significant technical welding capabilities that allow for no defects in the weld, they can take the examination directly, without attending the course.
A welder's capabilities can only be assessed through the execution of a weld in the presence of a welding inspector.
It is emphasized that the Welding Certificate examination is subject to rigorous inspection, first visual and then radiographic or by destructive testing of the welded piece, conducted by the Welding Inspector of the Certifying Body. Therefore, there are no compromises; the weld must be perfect and without any defects, otherwise the certificate will not be issued.
For the purpose of weld evaluation, a joint is welded and then subjected to the laboratory tests stipulated by the relevant welding certificate standard.
A successful outcome of the welding test, which must therefore be free of defects, leads to the attainment of the final certification.

There are various reference standards related to welder certification:
UNI, EN, ASME, DIN, PED, MIL, etc;
Different welding methods and processes: MIG, MAG, TIG, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), etc;
For various types of materials: carbon steel (iron), stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, etc;
For different thicknesses, positions, and technologies.

The welder's certificate is valid for three years. After three years, the welder must proceed with the renewal of the certificate, but the renewal process is very quick and inexpensive.

This attests to the high quality of our courses, our programs, and especially our welding instructors, who are absolutely among the best in Italy.
There are no shortcuts to receiving the welding certificate; the many hours of welding training are what count. Our courses are highly practical; students weld continuously for over a month using different techniques, machines, and positions until they are ready for the final exam.
